Hello freshers! Congratulations on finishing exams and getting ready to embark on your journey to uni. We're beyond excited to have you in Oxford in the coming year.
We are the international team of Oxford’s Christian Union, and we’re dedicated to helping international students feel welcome at Oxford. We'll be running a series of events to help you all settle in smoothly as you arrive at Oxford.
We'll be running an international welcome week (iWelcome) from the 26th of September to the 1st of October in Oxford! We'll be putting on events ranging from games and movie nights, a tour of Oxford, walks, and lots of good food together. There will be a mixture of online and in-person events that you can choose from. Take a look at the graphic below for more details - and you can sign up here!
Before you head off to Oxford though, we also know you might (as we did) have many questions about traveling, packing, and Oxford life in general. That's why we’re setting up a couple of Zoom sessions in August for international students who are heading off to Oxford soon to meet other international students, hear about what being an Oxford student is like, and answer some of your burning questions (what to pack, how to get to Oxford, what to do in Oxford, where to eat, or even who we are).
